Short answer: I needed the initials of "Low-Cost Engineer" (LCE) to spell "CLEi" in the logo. ^^

But seriously, the name "Low-Cost Engineer" reflects my journey of self-education and commitment to continuous learning. I don’t have formal training; instead, my skills have developed through passion, discipline, and perseverance.

It all began when I started exploring the world of technology, initially focusing on understanding computers as machines.

I helped colleagues set up their computers, choose the right laptops, and configure network routers—all for free (though I sometimes received snacks as a token of appreciation :) ).

As my hardware skills grew, I turned to programming, especially in the field of the Internet of Things (IoT). What began as a hobby led me to create low-cost replicas of expensive devices, with no intention of turning it into a business. That’s when I realized it was never about the money—or snacks—it was about the knowledge I gained and the value I could create by sharing that knowledge and fostering innovation.

This website is a testament to my dedication to learning and growth. I didn’t build it for any particular reason—just for the knowledge ... and out of curiosity. 😂
